Dialogue System

I got to work for the college that a went to for about three months and I worked on a few different projects. This is one of those projects.

The Experience

This is my first experience with player to non-player interaction. It was a learning experience for me. I got to build a behavior tree system with scriptable objects. The project showed me just how intricate it can be to make conversations in video games with branching pathways. This gave me a new perspective on how important it is to give players meaningful decisions. While in this project it does not matter what the player chooses it showed me where this change can be implemented when creating meaningful choices. It really depends how important of a non-playable character that the player is having a conversation with.
